Awesome! So, now Im really curious how they are creating the depth maps for mint marks and dates on Lincolns – are those not quite a bit smaller and thinner? I think I prefer the lighting of the first shot.
Dude imagine this. I wonder if you can strip the image off the depth map, and apply a topographic gradient layer. Like in GIS maps, where relief is shaded colors depending on altitude.
