Variety Summary

This is the strongest of the 1905 and 1906 doubled dies, because of the full seperation of the veins, the doubling here is easily visible on just about any grade. You should make a habit of checking every 05 and 06 reverse. This particular double die comes married with an obverse that has a repunched date, the 1905 RPD-014.

Additional Notes

Obverse

Paired with RPD-014. Die scratch through TE of UNITED.

Reverse

Class II, Distorted Hub Doubling.
Doubling shows as a nice spread toward the center on the vein and leaves on both sides of the wreath, being stronger on the right side. Doubling also seen on the arrow tips, leaves, and ribbon. Full seperation is seen on the right side veins.
