Variety Summary

This is only the second MPD date found in 1885, and is the first MPD of this year located in the denticles. Astounding!

Additional Notes

Obverse

There appears to be the top of 5 in the denticles below the second 8 in the date.

Reverse

1. Die crack from the denticles at 3:30 upward and downward through the right wreath. A small die break develop within the right wreath at 3:00.
2. Die crack from the denticles at 5:00 into the ribbon end.
3. Die crack from the denticles at 7:30 that traverses the olive leaves and possibly into the bottom of the ribbon knot.
