Variety Summary
Nicknamed the ‘Bar Lip’ variety. The punch has been seen on at least four different obverse dies, all featuring the ‘Bold N’ reverse. The most attractive is this ‘Bar Lip’ specimen.

Defective digit punch, making it appear as though there is a RPD under the top of each digit. This defective punch was used on at least 3 other obverse dies, but they need to be seen in-hand for verification.
