Class V, Pivot Hub Doubling
Doubling shows as a CW spread on IBERTY of LIBERTY, and the ear.
Misplaced Date
The top of a doubled digit is seen in the middle of the denticles below the 6. The shape suggests that this is a 6.
Repunched Date : 1868/188.
Repunched 1 below the top serif. Repunched first seen 8 seen slightly below the middle. Repunched second 8 shows above the top and middle.
Die scratch from the bust to the top of the 1.
Reverse
Die crack at 10:30 from the rim down through the wreath to about 8 o'clock. Die crack at 2:30 from the rim down through the wreath, then back to the rim at 5 o'clock.
