Variety Summary

Photos courtesy of Rick Snow. If these are the remnants of the raised space between the denticles, this variety is a result of a dropped working die. There is no evidence of this variety being created in the coining press. There are no compressed lowered fields, clashed design elements, or any other evidence. The top of the spaces are raised as the dropped working die caused an indent into the lower working die. There is not enough physical evidence to absolutely conclude that this was the result of off-center clashing.
