Variety Summary

Easily distinguishable because of the bold die crack through the N of UNITED. Although all of these doubled die reverses are distinctly different, the impression of the open E over the close E on this variety strongly supports the conclusion that these doubled die reverses were not the result of a doubled master die.

Doubilng seen on the E of ONE with the open E over closed E. No doubling seen on the middle bar of the E. No doubling seen below the E. Doubling is seen to the right side of the upper and lower bars of the E.

Strike doubling seen on the date, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Die crack from the rim through the N of UNITED. Die crack from the rim through the A of STATES.
