Variety Summary
One of the bolder doubled E’s. With doubling seen on the vertical bar, is it a Class III or possibly Class VI? More research is needed. In doing so, more varieties will probably be found. It is interesting to not that a large number of the doubled die reverses have rim cuds, but the lettering is sharp and crisp like an early die state. This could indicate that these dies were reworked after much use in service.
