Variety Summary

Its unusual to seen such strong Class II doubling on one side, and a far less spread on the other. Design elements which are equal distant from the rim should have the same doubling. Unless other factors were involved such as the metal content of the working die being different on one side of the die.

Doubling shows as a strong spread toward the center UNITED, the beak and eye. Minor doubling seen on some of STATES OF AMERICA.

Die scratch from the second T of STATES. Broken die scratch between OF and the rim.
