1858 DDO-007 Flying Eagle Penny

1858 DDO-007 Flying Eagle Penny

A nice batch of small cents came in, and I’ve added them to the listings.

Five new die varieties have been added to the listings, and the 1858 DDO-007 has some new pictures.

I’m sorta stumped by 1880 ODD-002. It’s not “Longacre Outlines”, that’s for sure! I’ve seen some die deterioration that resembles that on coins with very high mintages, but not on IHCs. If it were simply die wear, I’d expect to see a lot more flow lines from the rim and eroded denticles. Perhaps some parts of the die were hardened better than such as around the rim? Just guesses here.
